 I 1997 I Diploma in Architecture, Thesis: Design of a Communication Center in Harlem / New York City

I Since 1998 I Lecturer for CAD at the community college VHS Hannover. I am also booked by many companies for in-house CAD courses.

I 1999 I Registration in the professional list of the Chamber of Architect of Lower Saxony as a freelance architect. I work as an independent architect in and for different architecture firms.

I Since 2000 I Started as a research assistant on the Faculty of Architecture, Engineering and Conservation at the HAWK, see also WORK@HAWK

I Feb. 25, 2015 I Elected as the Dean of Studies for the Department of Architecture at the HAWK.

Karate

I 1983 I Began with the sport of Karate. As a long-standing member of the German Karate National Team I have taken part successfully in the major competitions in Europe as well as at the World Games. My present level is  3th Dan, Black Belt.

Marathon

I 1994 I Ran my first marathon out of curiosity. Since then, I have run 26 mile marathons in the following cities:

One of the best times of my life

I 2004 I When I applied to be a volunteer for the Olympic Games in Athens. There were more than 150,000 applicants. Yes, the organizers selected me to be a part of the Olympic Games 2004. 45,000 volunteers were invited to contribute to the success of the Olympics Games in Greece. I am still grateful to my fantastic greek colleagues and to my olympic dorm mates. The Games came back to where it all started – For me a dream came true!

I am doing it again

I 2016 I I am chosen to be a volunteer at the next Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro! 250.000 applicants and I am one of the 50.000 selected people. I don´t have to mention how happy and excited I am.
